It's a diode to drop the voltage going to my HIDs since I'm running 14v. They draw <10 amps. And the clip still "felt" secure. Now do you see the importance of quality made, weatherproof connections when you have 150a+ flowing through it? Soldered and shrink wrapped. With hot glue around it to completely seal out moisture.
