N9neMillahhh
I wanna see that SQ playin .25ohm too though...that's just nasty raw.. Soundqubed isn't going out of business anytime soon. There amps are bullet proof, never had an issue with one so far that wasn't my fault. And even getting stupid with the big amps at .25 ohm at 10.5 volts they held together like a champ. Lets see a Rockford amp play at .25 ohm at 10.5 volts? 02 Lexus IS300 (2JZ FTW) Mids/Highs: JL Audio C5 6.5s all around Mids/Highs Amp: JL Audio HD 600/4 Subs: four SA-8v2s in 3.8cubes @ 32hz Sub Amps: SAZ3k Battery: Huge Interstate Batteries relocated to trunk About 80ft. of 1/0 OFC.... CleanSierra
I believe kirill007 was only referring to the fact that RF has been around for 40 years and that they PROBABLY aren't going anywhere. I don't think he was insinuating anything more or painting AQ or SQ in a bad light or saying they are doomed. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Smoove
I won't knock SQ since I have never run it. I love alpine on mids and tweets and would run RF on subs all day. 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/
clickclickw00t
I have an Audioque (basically SQ) 2200.1D on my HDC312 and it bangs! Make sure you have good electrical because it is HUNGRYYYY at 1ohm.
kl0wn
I've owned the AQ1200, AQ2200, Q4-120, and the Q1-3500 arrived at my doorstep this morning, so nothing I can say about the 3500 yet. I had the AQ1200 on a Fi Q 18 at 1ohm, sounded good, loved it while I had it, did a 143.1 IIRC at like 43hz on music, 2dr Explorer I had the AQ2200 on 4 SA 12's in my MINI Coop at 1ohm, sounded great, loved it while I had it. Did a 148.5 at 34hz on music. I am still running the Q4-120 on my mids/highs and absolutely love it, more power and sounds way better than the RF300.4 I had on them before hand. The RF was only the Prime series though, so that is comparing apples to oranges. So overall, I love the amps. Stout amps, and they can surely take a beating. Before I got my electrical up to par I dropped the AQ2200 to 9v by accident at a show, she got warm as hell but kept on going. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz
Deep Bass Dreams
So what I've read is.. Lots of power for good price Needs beefy electrical Sq is unknown since they were used in SPL setups Built quality is exceptional Cannot go below 10v not stable low voltages Component inside is unknown Stability at high voltages is unknown So ultimately you pay for what u get. So get an electrical upgrade if you getting q2200 and up, as they need power to function properly
