Stephen Dunnington
I'm finally upgrading my alpine mpd500 that powered my 2 12" kicker dcvr 2ohm(800rms). I've been looking around a lot lately and have been debating on a Rockford R1200-1D(800RMS at 2ohm) or the Q1-1200D(870RMS@2Ohm). Obviously Rockford's a beauty, but for some odd reason the SQ Amp seems like it'll have some nice power behind that underground name along with the extra 70RMS. AND NO I'M NOT TRYING MAKING THIS A VS THREAD. I'm just wondering the quality behind it.
RooTxBeeR
I own a aq750.1 and I love it, only running it at 2 ohms and it's pushing my 15 pretty hard. kirill007
You won't ever hear a difference between 870w or 800w, that's a difference of .72dB. They both are good amps, but I would choose RF over SoundQubed, only because the service at RF is top notch and i'm almost 100% certain that the company won't go down within a few years. Kranny
i own their 1200. longest lasting bass amp i've had so far and doesn't show signs of stopping. since when is AQ going out of business? two cars "around" my area do 59's and 62's with AQ woofers. not burp only cars either. who can go out of business with woofers that perform so well for so cheap? Very well agreed, I believe I have heard one of those hes speaking of, fucking nutso. For real though, the price of their woofers is amazing, even the SD2.0 is great for budget systems. I also am thinking of using a AQ2200 or 3500 in the future. AMI CUSTOMS
Soundqubed isn't going out of business anytime soon. There amps are bullet proof, never had an issue with one so far that wasn't my fault. And even getting stupid with the big amps at .25 ohm at 10.5 volts they held together like a champ. Lets see a Rockford amp play at .25 ohm at 10.5 volts?
