gckless
Not much today, prepping for the girl's visit. She said she wants to stain it; I'm scared. Bolted the dowels together. gckless
Roundover. All that's left is sanding and should be ready for stain and poly. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. RossGo
If you're gonna use poly fil, I've found 1 pound per cube (box volume) to be the sweet spot. Just make sure to keep the parts around the basket big pieces since I'm sure there is a ton of space between each one Yes I have a lot of stereo weight. I build for Smiles Per Gallon not Miles Per Gallon LOLZ My build - 1996 4Runner with 2 18s - 149+ in a sealed box (with radiators)

gckless
Been busy lately, girl was here and this happened: Love this knot: Aaaanyway, got it all sanded down and just threw the stain on. Was much darker than I hoped, but it's alright I guess. A little blotchy too. Still don't know what I'm gonna do with my front stage amp situation. My choices are these: 1) Keep the Levi for now. Send it in to get fixed and possibly modded somehow (maybe higher power on channels 5-6 but stable at 8ohms or something). 2) Gladen XL250.4 3) Soundstream REF2.640 and REF4.920. This is a deal that's going to expire VERY soon, like within the next couple days. 4) Ground Zero GZHA 2400XII and 4200XII, but those won't be available for a couple months.
