Thieves flock to things like this and since people are not local the chance of eventually finding you shit is low. Next time, gun and no sleep. If my car sat out in a parking lot at an event like that I would not be sleeping. advise would be to stay at a hotel real far away from the show. Just keep shooting till they are out of range.
