Bship
they also told me 3,000 for the solo x 18, and i told them i could get it online for 1/3 of the price and they were like "thats with no warranty" after they told me that the subs are meant to be blown thats why they are made to recone so easily.. why need a 2000 dollar warranty when i can recone it myself? guess i just need to save up the money and take my car to steve and let him work his magic on it Steve doesn't take customers. if you could get 150 with $1k, everybody would be there. mrd6
You're off to a good start with the screen name pot smoker 420 lol, I'm also sure most companies want to be represented by someone who knocks peoples trophies off of their shelves when they get butthurt...keep it up! lol i am definitely not crying. already puttin out 150db for a self installed $1000 system.. just doesnt sound as good as i want it to.. and im tired of the kicker/probox set up. wanted the re xxx 18 but the local shop here is tellin me literally 3 stacks for sub and box combo, i laughed in his face and knocked their "trophies" off the wall as i left. Carbon
your not doin a 150 with 2 l7's on 2k in a prefab I was thinking the same thing Hoss OP... As far as sponsorships go... you Need to understand the following, Here is some of what you need. -Friends in high places -A Bad Ass car, No one wants to sponsor a piece of shit. Would your put your company name on a piece of shit? -Brand and Icon are everything. -Good portfolio (you need to have alot under your belt already) -Dont Expect that the sponsors owe you anything just because they make a product you want. -Attend lots of shows and WIN competitions -The ability to "sell" yourself. Let them know why they should choose YOU over the 1000 other people who want free shit. -GOOD dick sucking skills aka you need to find the guy in charge and blow him. SmoTtPokeR420
i round up..which i konw i shouldnt when 2 dbs is a big difference..but 148 on termlab here at audiomagic soundshop in my hometown. and 250 for each sub, 400 for box, and amp was literally like 200. so 1100 isnt too far off 1000. people hit 150's with 2 8" sa's..so yes it is possible. and i didnt knock the trophies off by hand, if you had a system worth a fuck you could easily rattle trophies off shelves.. 2005 Lincoln Aviator Pioneer AppRadio2 1/0 gauge wiring Soundstream TX1.2000 2 Kicker L7 15'' subs 9 cu.ft. ALPINE408
The best way to get sponsers is to go to shows win and then go out and meet the owners of the company (this will mean you have to TRAVEL to them) CES is a great place for that.... bs with the owners see if they will work with or wait to talk to them agin later call em up now they know who they are talking to instead of some random guy calling for free shit bs'in about stats and wins Have you ever had your woofers blown?
