CJL
What other driver would you compare its output to? Does it get pretty low?
Forevrbumpn
They sound great, but the only MTX 9500 I have ever personally installed was 2-12" 9500-44, and the mtx 81000 amp, in a 04' Vette . Both subs fireing right behind each head, and a big port tuned at 55hz.. Was insaneeee, and even tho it was tuned high, since the subs were so close, they picked up the lows really good... Only car ever that got my brain to jiggle in my skull... lol... But again, sure any sub tuned that high, that close will do the same Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. AI James
they are decent for what they are, and if your thinking about buying one, he has his and a great horn box for sale. You can get a hold of him through aim at power9500 or pm him here
audiobass10
I've heard several setups with the 9500's and have liked all of them. They're probably the only MTX sub I would consider using in an install myself. They get pretty loud and sound fairly well doing it.
stratusrt01
Someone say my name in here? I was fairly happy with my 9512.44. When it was in a box that should sound great musically, it was on par with the 12W7 that I had before, just louder. When I decided to make it loud, I slapped it in a folded horn, and it was amazingly loud for a single 12" woofer.

CJL
Do you guy thing they could beat a L7 in output for a daily driver? Also how many watt do they need to perform the best?
AI James
yes it can beat an L7 in output and sound better doing it, and power depends on the box
