Tahoe 2013/2014/2015 RF, FI, XS, SQ, TM, etc...

Recommended Posts

I am enjoying this build. I am about to start the build on my 2010 yukon and you have been helping me with all the hicups before I have even started. What batteries are under the hood? I am probably doing 2 DS3400 under hood and 2 XP3000 in the back. Already have one of each. Also have my 2 Mechman alts in the garage. I have been just waiting for my Sundown ZV4 18's.

I am still gonna completely sand it inside and out and then also paint it inside and out to make everything* smooooooth. Will also be adding 2 braces to the inside, then adding the baffles, then adding resin to that, etc. etc. all in good time =)

haha, feels like I've been sticking lots of time into it, then I get home, put pics. on my computer and looks like 1 hour of work, haha! Maybe just compared to some other people on here. I know people like pics. so I try and take a fair amount. For me to be getting this far on my box, which is the last stage of my build (everything else done FINALLY) makes me super pumped, however going to be lots of time getting the outside of this box finished to my liking. I know it's not a wall but I think this thing will get down pretty good. (I have had 2 walls in the past and eventually when this Tahoe gets a little older to me I will prolly wall it off I'm sure). Foolish to have wall behind C pillar? lol I sooooooo wish I would have bought a Suburban. I want 8 15" behind C pillar in a wall off a DC 10k but this Tahoe just ain't got the space so simple sub box for now it is. Got to keep the back seat while my daughter is young though, of course i do got 3 other vehicles, lol

Thoughts, can anyone think of anything missing to this build that a guy could, or should consider? I like to keep things simple and keep looking thus the factory'ish look so far. I am eye balling a RF 3sixty but would like to get this thing playing before I try and be adding and changing stuff too much. I work a LOT so all reasonable suggestions would be considered but I don't have lots of time to for installs, I just try and do a little every day to keep progress moving forward, as you can tell by my slow ass build log. I just feel like there is something cool missing from this build that I could add. Maybe someone's great idea will sit well with me....
