Karkov Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Posted July 14, 2013 Then adding 4 more cans of expanda foam inside the rear fenders of the vehicle i guess they would be, underneath the rear side windows where there is no way to put sound deadener on the inside of the outer metal of the body. Karkov Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Posted July 14, 2013 Then, on these Tahoes they have a plastic piece above the tail lights on the exterior of the vehicle that can be removed by a couple screws and that are made of just plastic. Stupidest design ever but whatever. Guess they didn't have bassheads in mind when they engineered them...SOOOO removed them, doubled up some Dynamat Xtreme inside of them, then added some more where the tail lights go. ATTEMPTING to remove any rattles i could possibly have control over, lol. Then swap out equipment as you need. I have officially gone through 180 sq. ft. of Dynamat Xtreme, 90+ sq. ft. of Fatmat, AND I still haven't touched the hatch, or any of the door panels yet......for all those i am ordering up some Second Skin Damplifier PRO and gonna try it out. The doors with mids/highs will need it and the hatch is gonna be taking the brunt of the port so it will need a LOT as well.....
