d.girardi Posted June 24, 2013 Report Share Posted June 24, 2013 i have a customer with a 2000 yukon with a triple alternator setup( 1 350 amp and 2x 300 amp), 4 shuriken sk-bt140's under the truck, 4 yellow tops under the box, 15kw and 4 dd 9518's. while the subs are playing, the vehicle will not accelerate at all. we dont know where to go from here. battery are fully charged, and voltage is strong. any ideas? Meaning...did this vehicle used to work with these subs and amps and alts and play bass without the issue or did the issue always exist with this setup. The answer to the above will help to isolate what to look for. Its either some component that broken (used to work) or a faulty install. It could still be a broken component if it never worked before but this is still important info to know. Also, when you say " while the subs are playing, the vehicle will not accelerate at all." does this mean Full Tilt or even while playing at low volumes?
