wow that's a lot of power! I am upgrading my front T2s to T3s and just bought a T400-2 to run the mids while my T400-4 will take care of the Highs and with the rear channel open I plan to build kicker panels to house the T2s. Plus a T400-4 to run a set of T2s in the rear doors. 900 watts of mids and highs when I am done. should sound clean and loud off my DEH80-PRS.

Ok guys, need a little help here, When the component set says 125 watts RMS does that mean per speaker I.E. Qty. 2 mids and 2 tweets X 125 = 500 watts RMS per component set?

If so i am thinking possibly this amp...

Paired up with 2 sets of these...

I would prolly run them all passive. Am i headed in the right direction? Any ideas/opinions/alterations would be muchly appreciated. Thanks

No it's per set (tweeter+mid) and RMS is only a guideline. If you are feeding them a clean signal and not killing your voltage most quality components will take much more than their rating. I have been running 100rms to each of my 60rms rated components and mids everyday for a few years now.

Oh, gotcha, so for Qty. 2 - T3 component sets an amp more like this would be ideal?

Or I could still use the 1000 but just use half the channels for now?

Since Rockford amps are under rated a tad the t600-4 should be a pretty close match but with that substage I am not sure it's enough.

Your subs and amps that a lot of power.

oh, gotcha. Yea, maybe I will get the 1000 and just use 2 channels, add 2 sets to front dash/doors/pillars or something then maybe some day add a couple more sets in rear doors or something and use the other channels. To hit the RMS rating for the speakers plus a little due to amp being under rated I think I will be happy with that. You think my power will be inadequate? I might add more 3100 some day, right now i just need to start the damn install, lol.
