I am upgrading my front T2s to T3s and just bought a T400-2 to run the mids while my T400-4 will take care of the Highs and with the rear channel open I plan to build kicker panels to house the T2s. Plus a T400-4 to run a set of T2s in the rear doors. 900 watts of mids and highs when I am done. should sound clean and loud off my DEH80-PRS. Qty. 2 mids and 2 tweets X 125 = 500 watts RMS per component set? If you are feeding them a clean signal and not killing your voltage most quality components will take much more than their rating. Yea, maybe I will get the 1000 and just use 2 channels, add 2 sets to front dash/doors/pillars or something then maybe some day add a couple more sets in rear doors or something and use the other channels. To hit the RMS rating for the speakers plus a little due to amp being under rated I think I will be happy with that. You think my power will be inadequate?
