issues with rear hatch window?

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, I am curious since my rear hatch has it so the glass can be opened separate than the whole hatch itself if I will have major rattle issues with this? There is clearly no way to put sound deadener on glass (I wouldn't any). I am assuming there is others on here with same issue/setup? I am having the port face back. I mean, basically whether there excessive rattle or not i am screwed but I am curious what others have done to combat it if anything (other than a wall). thanks for any insight or suggestions.

Thanks all for your suggestions, never thought of either of those options, yea, kind of figured I was SOL. With everything else being Dynamatted the window has no choice but to take the brunt of it. Oh well. I will try some of the above things. Thanks!!

Go wall. .... ;)

haha, my 2 previous setups were walls (separate vehicle) so this time around I will do simple install and stick with box behind the rear seats in cargo area, in the future the vehicle will be more dedicated to stereo though but as for now I will keep my second row of seats. thanks though. =)

Yep, same here, rattles like a bish. Not much you can do if you still want to be able to use it.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.
