Just so you know. The point of charging him with murder 2 was not to get a conviction of murder 2 but to get a manslaughter conviction which the jury has an option of conviction.

I know, and the DA can convince the jury with a few arguments. The defense has only badgered witnesses,. They haven't given a reason for Zimmerman to have even gotten out of the car in the first place/

And they know that.. they are not looking at a murder 2 conviction they are looking for manslaughter! You aim for the charge above hoping for a conviction below.

If I were on the jurry I would want to know why he got out of the car in the first place. I would also hop the defense could make me understand why he confronted this kid when all he was doing was walking.

I remember the "news" being all over the fact that he wore a hoodie like it would be a reason to start shit with him...
