Jskiles
Right now I have a set of the skar audio vxi components and they aren't loud enough with the bass. Should I add another set and run them on the other two channels or go with bigger components or maybe some pro audio? 2010 Kia Forte Koup (Slow Build) 2 Sundown SCV-3000D 2 DC XL M1 with PSI reconesFocal R-165s2 on Orion 4800-HPKenwood KDC-X798Knukonceptz OFC 1/0Audiotechnix,Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS power D3400 up front 3 D3100s power in trunkStock 110 amp alt 2013 Scion TC 2 Dc lvl 3s with xl coils on Soundqubed 2200 Sundown components AA 50.2 for components Pioneer FH-X700BT Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS Power D3100 up front D925 in back Mechman 240 alt http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189911-2013-scion-tc-build/ <Scion TC Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174094-jskiles-forte-koup/ <Slow Kia Forte Buildhttp://www.stevemead...ockUserAgent__1 < Old build 2005 Equinox

KMS
If you're on somewhat of a budget, the Morel Maximo 6.5's have some good bass. Hell, my JBL MS-62c bump but cost a big more. Best thing to do is seal and deaden your doors. That will make a huge difference. Kevin M
How much wattage are they on? Can you bridge the amp? If they are at or around rms feeding them a little bit more may be just what the doctor ordered. I would definitely try that before I added another comp set or changed to a PA setup. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle

My amp is a orion 4800 which is rated 65 watts rms x 4 @4 ohms 100 x 4 @ 2 ohms 200 x 2 @ 4 ohms bridged. These speakers are 60 watts rms and are 4 ohms. 2010 Kia Forte Koup (Slow Build) 2 Sundown SCV-3000D 2 DC XL M1 with PSI reconesFocal R-165s2 on Orion 4800-HPKenwood KDC-X798Knukonceptz OFC 1/0Audiotechnix,Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS power D3400 up front 3 D3100s power in trunkStock 110 amp alt 2013 Scion TC 2 Dc lvl 3s with xl coils on Soundqubed 2200 Sundown components AA 50.2 for components Pioneer FH-X700BT Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS Power D3100 up front D925 in back Mechman 240 alt http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189911-2013-scion-tc-build/ <Scion TC Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174094-jskiles-forte-koup/ <Slow Kia Forte Buildhttp://www.stevemead...ockUserAgent__1 < Old build 2005 Equinox
Kevin M
I would be nervous running three times rms to any comp set. You can check with the skar subforum but they will probably tell you to get another com set. A crossover will eat some of the power so you could be safe but without knowing more I wouldn't risk it. 2005 Ford Focus zx4 AMT's and Planars 18" Infinite baffle
Swordlordboy1234
I'd find more powerful comps and more power. Thanks. I'm probably going to buy another set and give these to my wife. Hopefully I can find a decent set that can run 150-200 watts for around 200 2010 Kia Forte Koup (Slow Build) 2 Sundown SCV-3000D 2 DC XL M1 with PSI reconesFocal R-165s2 on Orion 4800-HPKenwood KDC-X798Knukonceptz OFC 1/0Audiotechnix,Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS power D3400 up front 3 D3100s power in trunkStock 110 amp alt 2013 Scion TC 2 Dc lvl 3s with xl coils on Soundqubed 2200 Sundown components AA 50.2 for components Pioneer FH-X700BT Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 Fatmat and Q-mat Deadener XS Power D3100 up front D925 in back Mechman 240 alt http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/189911-2013-scion-tc-build/ <Scion TC Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174094-jskiles-forte-koup/ <Slow Kia Forte Buildhttp://www.stevemead...ockUserAgent__1 < Old build 2005 Equinox

Deadening is needed though it will help a lot I just installed deadener (sp?) a couple days ago so im good on that.
