two d3100 sat for 1 year, still good to go?

Recommended Posts

I have two d3100 sat for one year. One read 11.5v and the other one read 12.5v. I am charging the 11.5v at 2amps, just to be safe rather than 15amps. Is the one with 11.5v done? unknw.gif.pagespeed.ce.10ENk9L3tU.gif Do I need to replace it? I know the 12.5v is ok.

I am using the powermaster charger.

Big x's batteries need the 15 amp charge

And if there has been any sulfa facatuon incorrect spelling u know, it helps to break it off the lead (agm material) in the batteries

  • 1 month later...

after 24 hours sat, one read 12.8v (was 11.5v), the other one read 12.9v (was 12.5v). Seems they're good to go. hope it'll hold up.

Since you posted a new thread: Do a couple charge/drain cycles, Hook up an old headlight(or several) until the battery drains down to 10.5-11v or so, take it off, hook it up to the charger on the highest amp charge setting. Do this 2x and I bet they'll perform

Or if you can't do that, send them to be with some $$ for return shipping and I'll see what I can do with them
