I figure this is what its gonna cose me over the summer to get my new build done. SUB-HDC3 360$ AMP- AQ 2200 $$325 USED WIRE - AUDIOTECHNIX 1/0 CCA $$90 BATT- UNDECIDED 150$ BOX/MISC TERMINALS/SHRINK/WIRE ect... - 250$ Stock alt, HDC3 15" in a 2000 malibu with 2200w worth of AQ power. Been running 2 12" cvrs off 1600w worth of boss power.. Lol , so this is my new build im not gonna talk out my ass like i did last time until i actualy start pickin shit up. Keep an eye out since ive already got money saved for this build! Actually in the process of buying the aq2200 off of some guy locally for 325. My goal with this build is to get looks from everyone i drive by because my trunks about to explode. So the plan is, big three done in 1/0, two tuns front to back, have a ground bar set aside in the rear, along with a false floor for the batt to sit into. NOOO highgs or mids for now lol, im strictly tryin to upgrade my spl as of now. Just getting the ground plans layed out for this build so its as good as can be change that batt budget, your going to need a good under hood agm and atleast a xp3000/d3100 in the back i know i know.. i gotta, this system wont be playing for a little while, because of my $9.60 hourly pay. Im 17 & trying my best to save up for my first REAL system. Also no xs will be in my car, too over priced. Thinking it would blow my jeep apart, lol the boss amp wasent cutting it so i bought an Alpine mrp m500 from future shop. robsmokingood Posted July 10, 2013 Author Report Posted July 10, 2013 The cvr's, for some reason they sounded best facing the wall of the jeep ? Sonys were wired at 2 ohms parralel, with the alpine puishing them pretty hard. they sounded really nice on certain songs for being sonys. The cvrs were wired at 4 parraallel reason being because the mrp didnt support 1ohm loads So the jeep ended up blowing up, not litterally. It always had an electrical problem which are really hard to find in those model jeeps. It was the inline v6 The jeep wasent even mine, it was my moms lol, it had a lean on it making it unable to sell. So heres my downgrade.. Jvc kd530 lol, 3 band eq with a whole bunch of pretty colours. 4v preouts, front/rear and subwoofer. Had it in the jeep.
