Probably be a good bit louder since your doubling everything. I don't see how it would make it play Lows better except that they will obviously be louder since you are getting double the cone area. Sorry if that is confusing to read I am dead tired

750??! Yeah, fuck that. Fuck this website, fuck SMD, fuck Steve, fuck all of his butt buddy mods, and their couches.

It'll get louder but remember when you can a second speaker you're not getting 100% more you're only getting an additional 50%. You won't double your loudness and the lows will depend on how you tune your enclosure. Hope that helps! :D

as they said above it all depends on the box. if it is right then yes louder and lower IF it is build right. as of cone area they say it is king I say it depends on the box,amp and electrical of the car.

you would notice a significant difference if you got a second 12. you would notice an even bigger difference if you doubled your power. As far as playing lows, i would get a custom box. you could have a cheap sub in a custom box that would sound better than the most expensive sub in the world, in a cheap box. prefab boxes are generally tuned high. you can have someone design and build a box for you, or you could design and build your own. for a beginner at building boxes, you can use the RE box calculator. it is pretty accurate and it gives you a cut sheet. if you added a 2nd sub, doubled the power, and got a custom box, you would notice a world of difference with your system.

So just a quick question for you guys, how much of a difference would there be if i got a second sa 12? Loudness? Would it play lows better? Help me out

Yes, doubling power and cone area together, all other things being equal can improve your loudness but you may have to change the spec of the box if you want for example deeper bass.

Personally It seems like if 1 sub is 1x loud, 2 subs seems like it's 3x loud. Not saying it is just seems like it, lol. Definitely go with 2 if you are even thinking about it

I built my first box using the RE box calculator and it sounded a lot better than any Prefab box I could have bought. I am not saying it is the best option because it does not take account for the parameters of your driver but it is better than a prefab enclosure.
