Mcgee357 Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 I was wondering where I could get a nice terminal cup or something for my box? I don't want like some cheap standard one.
RidingTooLow Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 Why not just drill a hole in the box just barely big enough for the wire and use wire nuts to attach to the main lead?
Mcgee357 Posted July 24, 2013 Author Report Posted July 24, 2013 I just wanted it to look neat and clean and make sure it's sealed well.
Nick580 Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 run some speaker wires direct connect and seal up the holes that the wires are passing through. Or run the wires though some bolts as such:
P4killer_ Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 you can get em at like darvex.com or somixelectronix.com just google it. its not worth all the work etc rather than making a hole and pushing wire through. epoxy em in there and your done.. you could even kinda countersink a tiny bit around the hole for the epoxy to sit in like a very shallow cup and it looks real nice imo. 95neon_thumper82 Posted July 25, 2013 Report Posted July 25, 2013 I'm thinking personally my next box I'm going direct with 12ga or fatter wires... it actually lookes cleaner than a huge black eye sore of a cup... you'd be amazed <img src=http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w610/beastly666bassboy/IMG_9611192581855_zps9b9b76be.jpg border=0 alt= height="75" width="800"> Growing old is necessary... growing up is an option!
