06turdprix Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 I need help deciding what brand sub to go with, I want to run 2 15s, 1 ohm. Have a budget of about $550, I want something that will give me clean, hard bass. For daily purposes, somwthing that wont get hot after 30 seconds of lows. Building my own custom set has been thrown around but my exoerience isnt up there yet. Suggestions?
DJ_Stubbs Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 why 1 ohm. And do you have the amp already? Because thats gonna be hard to get everything for 550.I spent $250 for my SoundQubed HDC3 12" 2ohm. $85 on a 2.6cu ft box. $203 on Hifi Brutus 1600 mono amp. $37 on 0 Gauge Wiring. and i bought 2 0gauge in 4 0gauge out distribution blocks for power and ground. 2007 Dodge Caliber SXT 2.0L Flowmaster Single muffler + Tip 4 SoundQubed 6x9s 3-way PolkAudio PA660.4 2 MB Quart Tweeters 2 4" MB Quart 2-way New 8" coming soon!
