Anyone know of the Typhoon??

Recommended Posts

scott van riper is the only one that had a typhoon. its an extreme vehicle and not from jersey.

Nope, George Tranchitilla also had one. It was white with purple paint on it and stuff. Also extreme class. Ran Strokers at one point then switched to Orion HCCA.

He was from NJ.

Ran in my crowd and era.

They used a short bus as their tow vehicle.

Id heard of that one before but I knew it wasnt the Typhoon this guy claimed to have. So i was looking around a couple minutes ago and this is what I found, I assume this is what he meant by the Typhoon. They call it the SPL Typhoon. But Ive never heard of it...

Yes, that's it.

George Tranchitilla was one of the main team members.

They ran it in my area as I'm from Philly PA and have been going to shows since 95.

Their Typhoon was one of the best looking extreme vehicles of that era.

One of the coolest things was that it had bolt on plexi side windows but still had roll up glass on the outside. Basically a double pane window.

Oh well shit its cool to hear someone who actually knows about them and what they did. I never did get the guys name before i left but it sounded like if I would have stayed longer I might have been able to pick his mind a little more.
