Just as tough as commercial MDF. Try to get from Weyhauser Wood Panel supply. Rection in another thread did you mention trupan for a box ? no, i have never had any dealings with "trupan", nor have i heard of it. i have recommended extira in the past, and i have recommended lebonite, though the lebonite is no longer available. i have stopped a 44 magnum handgun and a 30-06 rifle before with a single 1" piece of lebonite. Hey there is a product I have used called DUOCORE. There is a supply house in Oregon that has it. It has 2 layers of lebonite in it. It was rock solid and the guy I ended up giving it to still has it in his living room.
