Blazer owners please chime in. Rear door speaker size

I have a 2000 blazer 4 door and im looking for some speakers to put in my rear doors. I went to my local Rockford dealer and bought their 6.5 slim mount and they are too deep and hit part of the door. Is there a speaker i can make work in this space what have other blazer owners done? please help.

only thing i can think of is to buy the speakers i really want and just make a pod in the door but then my window wont slide down.

If i can id like to make it a stealth install without being able to see any mods but if i have to i will

Yea a spot is there with a pod from factory but no speakers came in it lol

Probably 6.75" or 6x4"

I had no issues getting boston pro 6.5's in my rear doors.
