StreetMetalBen Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Well that title could be a little Risky. Lol Just bought my Lady a new Daily (Because her old one got ripped off and gutted. The goal is to keep the audio looking as stock as possible while a clean and clear as possible. I'm not a big fan of tweets on the pillars, one these cars i just don't feel they look the best. I dont have a brand in mind yet either. Any ideas on the loudest, cleanest, OEM looking as possible? Anybody with experience on getting there cars loud and clean?
kingsuv Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Could you be any more vague? Tweeters in the pillars can look oem with a little work (and money) People put them there to bring the sound stage up, not because it's what the cool kids do;) You need to decide on what you want to use. Clean and loud to one person isn't anywhere close for someone else. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
StreetMetalBen Posted September 5, 2013 Author Report Posted September 5, 2013 You are correct. Lol My Vaugness is meant to help inspire. I would much rather approach the educated experts with a general idea, before i make all of these plans in my head. Then someone points out something i didn't think of and screws everything up! Will my girls notice the clarity difference between GRS and Crescendo? No. Will I? Maybe. Idk. I have some Skylon 6.5's from back in the Day that sounds pretty clean. and they look Identical to my old GRS's. Basket, Spiders and All! Lol But i have had horrible luck with cheap tweets. and my Selenium 200's are just too big for this car. The Low's will most likely be a couple of E-12's in a 4th order ported with 2 3" areos through the rear speaker holes. On a 1000 watt 2 channel.

StreetMetalBen Posted September 5, 2013 Author Report Posted September 5, 2013 This car being a DX doesn't have a stock location. Ive been looking for stock tweet pods, but looks like they only work with the EX door Panels (Power Windows = different Door panels) AND they are not cheap, so i dont want to use them unless i know 100% they will work
