Swordlordboy1234
Yeah, so if a person asks if they should seal. The reply is yes unless they test differently. And then add their model car to the list of cars that don't gain... Which is 3 that I know of. How many cars do you know of vs how many trunk cars are on this forum. .? My point. soundstream15
I just sealed my trunk off, it's not 100% yet but it's also hard to get 100% if you want numbers and really take the time then you can do 100% I have a 2 door grand am. Now when I open my trunk the higher bass is louder but once thing I did gain was lows, is it louder? Yes a little but it sounds better bc no trunk rattle. It takes time to seal the trunk off. Depends on what you use. I still ain't sure what to use besides spray foam and gorilla tape. It's well worth it tho.

Yes if you are going for the loudest possible setup for your car. Musically or Fart box. I guess if you don't care just seal it off and hope for the best. David Bailey
I am only running two 12's with 1200 watts.. I want it to sound good, not super loud. I am thinking sealed is the way to go, should sound better and look a lot better too. Did you get that scar tissue when you got your vagina installed? Swordlordboy1234
It hardly ever hurts to seal off. If you are one of those lucky cars then you have no DB gain and it just looks cooler. So your either yon gain and look better or you don't gain but don't lose and look better. Sounds like sealing doesn't have too many negatives, why not try it? It worked for me and many others.
