rockford 1200.1D is melting wires.

I have a 1200-1d running at 1 ohm.. the amplifier was fine before at 4 ohms. But now its melting my 4 gauge CCA wire and going into protection mode. I have another fosgate 1200 completely identical running off of the same electrical and It is doing fine.

You have two of them running at the moment but only one is having issues? Pictures?

yeah sounds like a ground issue

amp is bad or the current draw is exceeding the capability of your cca wire or you have a loose connection causing resistance to climb what kind of fuse holder are you using?
