Well whatever is going on its a clusterfuck. One amp has power going to ground. How do you explain that?

Before you buy more wire figure out how to wire things up first or you are going to burn your car to the ground

This is where my 4 gauge OFC wire starts.. and runs to the back of the car, It has a 250AMP ANL fuse.. which i just noticed today.. also melted... fuckkkkk

20130927_091232.jpg

Runs to the back under my carpet to the Second battery.. The battery is grounded to a factory ground behind the seats which i sanded down..

20130927_091254.jpg

then goes to the distro block which spits off into two more runs of CCA 4 gauge... the ground doesnt go to the distro. it comes from the battery to the First amplifier..

as seen here.. yes i know Shitty connection job.. but i just ordered Stinger 4 guage to 8 gauge reducers so i would clean up nice.

20130927_091340.jpg

Now the ground for the second amp is right next to the taillights in the trunk.. i ran out of black 4 Gauge so i just used Blue and labeled them appropriately so i wouldn't get confused..

And that's basically how my Set up is wired up..

I know i Dont have the big three or anything like that but i working on it money is tight so the progress comes in slowly..

No i would have to remove the entire back seat for that...

what car do you have? in my corolla i could literally have the back seat out in under 5 minutes.

that ground you have is terrible.

try to avoid having 1000 frayed strands of wire on anything (like on your amp). that shit is fucking dangerous beyond belief.

you NEED 0 gauge from front battery to rear battery. 4 gauge can only handle like 150 amps, and you're putting almost 250 amps worth of strain through that wire. absolutely useless to put a 250 amp fuse on 4 gauge when the wire is going to melt before the fuse does.

edit: wait...why are you buying 4 to 8 gauge downsizer connectors for your RF amp that needs 4 gauge?

Get rid of the CCA wire that is too big for you amps teminal, its not rated for what you are trying to pull anyway.

Where do you live, because if its anywhere by me send me a PM, I will help you fix your shit for free if you purchase the wire and everything needed....I would much rather show you then see a post a few weeks form now with your car burnt down.

Agree, that ground sucks and almost all of your connections are way too long. I mean way too much copper showing danger danger your begging for arc.

Plus way too many kinds of wires and sizes. Not trying to be a dick, but your install is a mess. I'd take everything out and start over. And take your time.
