Hugh G. Rection Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 i know people with hearing LOSS with out hearing aids in love it but you have to keep in mind that there is actually quite a small percentage of the overall population who are into audio like the people here are. Yates Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 The people that give us a bad name are people that play it way to loud in residential areas late at night. its fine in industrial areas as people if they are their already awake and it only effects them for what 10 seconds at most when driving but yet we hear the cops and people complaining 24/7 I think this law is great that it passed for you guys. but also he could of worn more respectable clothing as your not just representing your self but bass-heads as a whole
David Bailey Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Not gonna read every post but of every freedom that this government is taking away people still want to be mad about it being legal to play loud music they don't like...... my personal problem is that they are invoking freedom of speech in this. this is NOT in any way at all relevant to freedom of speech. ' I disagree.. If "they" ban loud music, then "they" can ban (under the same law) loud speakers, as in, loud speakers at a rally. Think about how the government works!. First it is loud car audio (music, and or talk radio) anything heard over a certain limit. That could, and will include non-violent demonstrations against big brother. One of my favorite quotes," First they came for"... First they came for the communists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist. Then they came for the socialists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me Did you get that scar tissue when you got your vagina installed? TeamHT Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 How does music NOT fall under the freedom of speech right? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
iwannabeloud Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Hugh why you even joined this site, I have no idea, but here's one for you because you're sounding like a little bitch right now. http://www.girlpowerforum.com/ I don't put images in my signature to let people know I mean business.
WastedTalent Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 I don't care if it's the law in this case or not. I don't turn the volume down in traffic because it's the law. I turn it down to be courteous. Not everyone looks at it this way. With the law open like they it's just a way for people to make us look like douchebags. That's my point. If I pull up to a red light and someone's blastin their music? I just turn mine up. You don't care about me, I don't care about you. let's see how you like your music over my bass. Oh, you don't? Shoulda turned your shit down then huh? (Only when it's me and 1 other person at light) Sheena = pedobear
Hugh G. Rection Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 How does music NOT fall under the freedom of speech right? the purpose of the first amendment is to allow you to express your beliefs or opinions without the government stopping you from doing it. it has nothing to do with you playing a radio really loud in traffic. volkswagginvr6 Posted September 26, 2013 Author Report Posted September 26, 2013 but it can be considered as a form of protest, therefore it is an issue of freedom of speech. For instance a case happened where a man burned an American flag as protest to something that he didnt approve of going on. He was arrested, beaten, and charged with a crime. Later it was appealed because his burning of the flag was his way of protesting against whatever it was he was opposing, therefore they hindered his right of free speech. Its symbolic, and we have statues in place to protect that right. Not saying this is the case in all matters of people playing loud music, but it could be classified as there form of protest against something that they are opposing.
