Building A Strong Wall Saved My Life... Literally

Recommended Posts

glad your safe. 80 mph is a little fast with a wall though.

thats just what the speed limit is, man. the jeep was stable and drove really really well, even with the weight and everything

glad to see you made it ! big up to Kurt Bills for the enclouser.

id buy that man a case.

if he drank beer, id buy him a case in a heartbeat lol

I wonder if the walled caused the car to flip, doing 80 with all that extra weight probably popped the tire causing the car to flip

but then the wall saved your life.

when the tire blew, i went into the grass median and tried to save it and keep the jeep in a straight line. but at that kind of speed youre at the mercy of the environment which happened to be damp grass hills. once i got the jeep back onto the pavement though, i was already veering sideways and that just caused it to go end over end. It is honestly impossible to say what caused everything to happen. partially the vehicle failing, partially my attempt to save it.. who knows

Probably some rest, that's a good start lol. In all seriousness though, damn good to know you came out fairly unscathed from this.

its too early to ask as i have no idea. i have to figure out a way to fund a new car before i can worry about a new build. luckily, enough of my equipment is good still so as rebuild with 2 15s or 4 15s wouldnt be hard at all

damn bro that is DRAMA!! I always wondered if a PROPERLY installed wall would make you safer or not. Just be glad you built it strong and mounted it good because if not that thing could have just as well crushed you if it slid out of place.

glad you are ok! :)
