I'm 40 plus myself, been messing with car audio since late 80's early 90's.

I'm I old enough for the club? lulz

Forty is a little young but I reckon as long as you're haggard and ornery you can join. ;-)

Well, I can take it back to 1996 with some pics of my old mini. I was the first person in Orlando with 17" (that's right, 17") rims! So dope at the time. Had to cut my inner fenders out under the hood to make them fit. Back then, a lot of people ran 15" rims in order top go super low. I went the other way.

I'm 40 and did my first install with a custom built box in 1989. Built my first parallel sixth order in 1991 using the RF RTTI manual and some punch 10s.

Been a pro installer/salesman/manager since 1994.

--Two of my three cars still run a/d/s/ 336is components in the front.

--I still own three Celestion AD12s that may end up in my Tahoe temporarily.

--I also own three a/d/s/ R10S--two have never been opened and one is in my wife's SUV. The other two may end up in the barn doors of my Tahoe replacing the Celestion 3x12 box for a stealth SQ install. That's kind of my thing.

--Still have an Alpine pre-amp only pullout cassette deck with CD changer. 7292 IIRC.

--Also have 1)a/d/s/ M860 stock grey, 1)a/d/s/ M860 gold plated and 2)extra circuit boards for a total of 4.

--Been wanting to make a custom aluminum plate and use all four in my Tahoe mounted in the rear ceiling. 32x60watts or 16x240watts bridged active.

And if that doesn't qualify me then F you. How's that for haggard and ornery?

Static drops are my bag.
