^haha on that note there was a guy who showed up here a year or so.back with 12 12s in what I guess I would describe as a clamshell wall. All hifonics gear I think. Truck could barely manage a 145 and when asked why it wasn't loud his response was classic....

"It's built for SQ. Not to get loud."

Right, because we all know you need 12 12s for sq lol

Electrical tape instead of connectors on speaker wires and power/gnd behind headunit..

Ill bet i can twist and tape a better connection than you can do with those connectors. And if I heat shrink it forget it. I wont even solder

i do that once in awhile if its a temp setup. i love shrink wrap

I dont ever do it but I will use tape after I solder. Chances are its going to never be seen and I can bustout a tape job way faster than anything else. Not to mention butt connectors and taps etc all fail.
