Jessica
I used a 10 step program to build my wall. It is really simple. 1. Gut car. 2. measure, measure, measure, measure, measure. measure, measure, measure. 3. plug "net" numbers and various ports into torress. 4. Use sketchup to plan and design within my measurements 5. measure again 6. repeat steps 3 and 4. 7. Purchase wood and begin building. 8. finish and find out i still did something wrong and box is about 1cuft bigger than i though it was and port area is probably too much. 9. curl up in fetal position and cry myself to sleep. 10. Redo it again next summer with more power and more cone area. Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. Hi-Po 5.0
I was going to just build the box to what i can fit comftorably (behind rear seats, need room for amp rack behind wall). then plug those dimensions into torres, and go from there, considering my port will be a 0 common wall it will be really easy to adjust its length, just wast to sure on how much port area i needed. 93' Exploder Deck:Pioneer 6400-bt Front Stage: Crescendo PWX 8"s and Skar Audio VX1-ST per door Amps: Sundown Audio SAZ-3500 v1 @.375 ohm daily, CT Sounds 125.2 Subwoofer: Two PSI Platform 2 18"s,Fully Loaded D1.5's Enclosure: B Pillar Fourth Order, 3:1 ratio tuned at 46 (Designed by Low Hertz Box Designs) Wire: All Sky High Car Audio Cable! Ok bud.... ok... Me? ALL about the power your gonna run....(real power, with elec) Then, build your box. Pray subs are willing to take it... edit - swappin drivers is easier than swapping elec, and amps, and wire and that shit. (to me) May, or may not produce a trick. Especially if you want it musical. Like, broad musical. Where I got dicked a bit. Most here, make more wind than I, then again, I can play NIN, or some Greatful DEAD to make me and the wife smile. SOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo... do your best, and we are here to help, BUT,.. most of it? will come down to trial, error, test, tweak, and bumming off those that have "dun it". Wish you the best. I didn't mean to poke fun about your question, or your thread. cheers...
