Amazing work. Gave me some cool ideas and was helpful in showing me what I need to do with part of my current project.

not even gonna lie im a lil jelly right now.. what kind of led lights could i use that i could plug into remote power

If you are talking about the remote signal from the head unit to the amps. You should never use a direct connection to you remote to power items. use your remote signal to energize a 5 port relay, use direct 12 volts to pass thru the relay to power up units such as multiple amps, lights, etc.

NOW THAT I HAVE THE NEGATIVE PULLED FROM THE AREA WHERE THE OTHER TWEETER IS GOING. IT'S TIME TO PULL THE POSITIVE COPY FROM THAT NEGATIVE.

LIKE SO.

20140120160424.jpg THE NEGATIVE

20140120160811.jpg

ENOUGH FIBERGLASS TO CUT 4 PIECES

20140120161123.jpg

20140120161653.jpg

THE NEGATIVE, THE 4 PIECES, SOME STICKS TO HOLD UP THE PIECE, HOT GLUE TO PROP THE PIECE UP IN THE AIR.

20140120161730.jpg

3M'S SUPER 77 TO GLUE DOWN SOME REYNOLDS WRAP OVER THE PIECE AS A BARRIER AND PROTECTION.

20140120162348.jpg

THE ALUMINUM FOIL GLUED DOWN ON THE PIECE, MAKE SURE TO RUB IT DOWN GOOD TO ELIMINATE AIR BUBBLE AND WRINKLES.

20140120162447.jpg

SOME MOLD RELEASE WAX TO SEPARATE THE PIECES ONCE ITS CURED. BE GENEROUS WITH IT.

20140120162929.jpg

PIECE UP AND READY TO APPLY THE FIBERGLASS.

20140120162937.jpg

20140120163850.jpg

BE SURE TO ROLL THE FIBERGLASS TO ELIMINATE AIR POCKETS AND BUBBLES IN BETWEEN SHEETS AND AT THE END.

20140120164119.jpg

LET IT COMPLETELY CURE FOR SEVERAL HOURS TO PREVENT WARP.

20140120201808.jpg

THE POSITIVE ON THE LEFT AND THE NEGATIVE ON THE RIGHT.

20140120201855.jpg

AN EXACT PIECE OF THE DOOR PANEL. NOW TO CUT A SHAPE OUT OF IT AND MOLD THE TWEETER TO IT. I WILL CUT OUT THAT SAME SHAPE FROM THE DOOR PANEL AND FLUSH MOUNT THE PIECE TO THE PANEL.

Honestly if you decide to do sonething in that spot I think I would keep it reasonably small. Don't take away from what you have already got going on

Firm believer in letting my cars do my talking!

You can't rush quality, it doesn't happen overnight. Quality takes time and dedication, but the end results more than pay for it.
