I will have to look in the mornin to see if it is a maintenance free or not. I've only had it for a couple of months. Just picked it up at napa put it in and that was that really. Just went by the charts and their computers. I lack in the batt knowledge area guys. Be patient with me as I learn this from yall. So should I try that jump thing still snow. If it's flooded and the electrolyte is full as strangeduck suggested, there's not really anything you can do. It's not holding a charge. Jessica Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Well, check for cracks or swelling. Have your alt tested on the car if you can. Weird things can happpen. I had a windstar that had a short that made the alt charge constantly. It would destroy batteries. Hopefully we can troubleshoot this enough to find out what happen. If it's shorted it could be overworking the alternator and kill it quickly.
