zayres29
im with n8 on the c-pillar thing if you are going through all the trouble of building a wall... just why... im more impressed with a third row non walled vehicle when the wall is so far back you arent really gaining much by going with a wall over just a big ass box behind the back seat Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Feel privileged

AudiophilesEngineering
Tbhe only time i like to use an aero is when space is an issue. I just don't think it looks as clean either. They have their place but for me its not in a wall build. If done right your port baffle can actually help make your wall stronger as well. I dont care for c pillar walls either but thats personal preference. I'm willling to bet if you did a slot port you'd be louder on the meter and move more air. I have done many tests on different port types, and aero ports always win. Perhaps you live in a world with different laws of physics than I do though, who knows. Or maybe you were using those cheap crappy plastic prefab aero ports? The force is strong with my aero ports. im with n8 on the c-pillar thing if you are going through all the trouble of building a wall... just why... im more impressed with a third row non walled vehicle when the wall is so far back you arent really gaining much by going with a wall over just a big ass box behind the back seat You would probably prefer my wife's Jeep then, she has a pretty nice little no-wall build. I strongly disagree that there is not much advantage to a wall over a "big ass box behind the back seat". We shall see though. This Jeep is still my daily driver and needs to seat at least three people since we have a son, so a b-pillar is not an option for me at this time. Doing a build like this from the c-pillar is definitely more difficult for me than doing a b-pillar, but I am excited to see what I can get out of it. I love the challenge of the disadvantage.
