Fluky Stokes Posted November 5, 2013 Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 I ordered 2 pure 1500 monoblock amps a month ago. I finally got around to hooking them up in my expedition. Every time I bridge them, they make a low whine noise. When I unbridge them and run them solo there is no whine. I had brutus's strapped before without this problem. I have 2 runs of 0 gauge from starter battery (which is a duralast platinum agm battery) to my xspower agm battery. 1 run negative and 1 positive. I have a 270 singer alt. All my grounds are fine. So it is the amp. I had some brutus's before that and they didn't whine. As a matter of fact, The pure amps sound better and seem to hit hard. Oh well, when I bought the pure amps they were 135 a piece, now they are 275 so I should be able to sell them for more than I paid and I still got the brutus's so maybe I will hook them back up until I find a decent price on a used sundown.
