They need 4 inches mounting depth for them/ Feed them all the power you have and they will laugh. I've run multiple sets of them over time. how did u like the way they sound ? .yeah seeing how my 1st ever door panels didn't turn out so good lol .. I figured I would go with one set in each door (2 woofers 2 tweeters ) and a 8 or 10" shallow mount sub. then im moving my eclipse 5 1/4 will go in the back doors .. alpine head unit (freebee 2009 model)2 sets of eclpise 5.25 comp. speakers. 1. set is in the a-pilors 1. memphis mojo 2500 watt amp 1. rockford fosgate t2 15" dual 2 ohm wired to 4 ohm . seeing 600 watts 1. realm audio 600 watt 4ch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Have you seen these things? Their mid looks like a mini woofer the surround on the mid is huge plus a giant magnet on the back you know they are serious if it takes a 4" mounting depth.. save your self some money and buy the two sets..hook em up then see if your lacking in midbass becuase my bet is that u wont be lacking midbass at all..dnt get me wrong it sounds cool what u want to do but Im just trying to save you from unnecessary spending.
