Impalalpine
How would you guys rate the quality of the components used, board securing to chassis. Vibration resistance, and reliability. Any and all information you guys could give would be appreciated. Two amps such as a DC 3.5k and the SQ3500.1 I want to know the differences between the overall build quality between the two. I'm not asking which one is better and I know they are built in the same build house, again I'm interested in the construction of them and differences they have. They are very closely priced Thank you all Build's consist of: 2004 Chevy Impala : Pioneer--------------------- DEH-X8600bs Soundqubed/AQ------ Q4-120 Rockford Fosgate---- Punch-500.4 Soundqubed/AQ----- Q1-3500D.1 Alpine----------------- 6.5's & 6x9's Subs: TBA All Knukonceptz and SHCA wire and rca's Home Music Setup (4) Soundqubed HDS200 15's in two separate 15.5 cubic foot enclosures tuned to 31 hrz --- XM radio hardwire Updates coming all the time on both builds n8ball2013 "bullshit. C'sgetdegrees
I currently own an Aq2200 and am looking at a DC 5k. I like the construction of both. Impalalpine
yes, but If there were to be something to offset the price diffrence between the two( such as improved build quality) that would justify the price jump. that is the kind of information I am looking for right now Build's consist of: 2004 Chevy Impala : Pioneer--------------------- DEH-X8600bs Soundqubed/AQ------ Q4-120 Rockford Fosgate---- Punch-500.4 Soundqubed/AQ----- Q1-3500D.1 Alpine----------------- 6.5's & 6x9's Subs: TBA All Knukonceptz and SHCA wire and rca's Home Music Setup (4) Soundqubed HDS200 15's in two separate 15.5 cubic foot enclosures tuned to 31 hrz --- XM radio hardwire Updates coming all the time on both builds n8ball2013 "bullshit. ToNasty
DC uses higher quality internals that will last longer and also they will not protect at super low ohm loads. I think I disagree with this. I'm not saying either amp is better than the other but how do you know that ? ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers

g2shuck
From talking to a couple different amp repair companies when I was looking at possibly buying a couple amps that were blown from user error. Also I am not aware of anybody that can say they run an aq amp less than half ohm daily for a year without an issue. Keep in mind I run a aq amp and do not have a problem with them, but I can tell you in my opinion my current 2200 seems to be very power hungry. 2000 Toyota Camry With Sealed Off Trunk Sky High OFC Wiring DC Power 270 XP Alt AQ 2200 Sub Amp Two DC Level 4 m2 12s 80 Mil Murdetmat Gathering Parts For Wall Build.
