alexcopley5
I know that the woofers specs say 4500rms but I feel that's under estimated. Would it handle the DC 7.5k tuned to before clipping on amp at 14.3 volts. Or would the 5k be the best fit.
CJ18
The 5k is going to be your best fit. The 5k is a beast of an amp.
DylanBunch
Didn't the 5k do 9k+ at 14.x volts? I think at .8ohm right? CJ18
Pay attention to the Certified and Uncertified results. I am going to have to get more of an explanation about the Dynamic Burst testing to understand it fully, but for the time being, when I see an amp put out full rated power certified or uncertified, you know it is legit. CJ18
I will definitely have a chat with Tony about Dynamic Burst Testing. For example when testing the DC 5k, I have seen anywhere from 5500w-6000w certified. Now dynamic I have seen 8500-9000w. I cant help but have a hard time seeing that as a true number. The fun will come when the AMM-1 is ready and shipping and I can test true in car power.
g2shuck
Can't the Dyno be used in car also? CJ18
Yes the dyno can be used in car. Used in this fashion, it mostly identifies weaknesses in your electrical system.
