I noticed that and stated it, but for some reason I put single reflex instead of bass reflex. I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener. The tweeter is sealed on the back end by its housing, the mid woofer is ported, and the third (cant remember the name) is sealed on the back end as well. Second one uses it as well, looks like I should start researching that too lol... Krakin
i am failing to see what makes this an "open" baffle except for the concept of the stand. The tweeter is sealed on the back end by its housing, the mid woofer is ported, and the third (cant remember the name) is sealed on the back end as well. I know it has a lot to do with the way in which the baffle is designed for amount of space, design of shape, and driver placement, and are bi-polar. But the point of this thread is to see if anyone has the experience with these systems and could help.
