Can anyone help give me some advice/suggestions on how to fill and seal these gaps

take some cardboard and trace that opening, transfer it to wood, place back in the spot, secure it how you see fit, lay some sound deadener over the piece, then spray with foam...great build btw...

Hit the box with some filler primer... Even tho the back/top and sides will be carpeted, I'm still priming it to help protect against moisture.

Put 2 real light coats on the whole thing, 3 coats on the face/port.

Yessir, trying to get as much done as possible, while still not "rushing" thru... Trying to keep mistakes and redo's to a minimal.. But I literally cannot wait to hear these things...

And I'm on step closer as I just ordered my 320A Singer Alt.. As well as all the other trimmings and misc crap I needed to get this up and running.

And some misc car parts (suspension/brakes/and tools)

Sweet choice on alt size! that should give you plenty of power. Ya from one 12 on 750watts to 2 12's on 3k. Big difference. Plus ported into the cab... Hell ya.

Fill primed and regular primed, wet sanded, and here getting its last few coats of primer. Will wet sand once more, then move on to the color/clear coats.

I plan on painting the face and getting it all finished and then I'll mask it off really well for when I build into trunk. (I do a lot of masking at work so I've gotten fairly good at it).

I'm tuned in! Just read thru all the pages and your work is great! I'm SLOWWWWLLYYY getting my system together and have a build log in progress on my 300C and will be doing something similar! But working 70 hrs a week and in the middle of buying our first home, build is shut down for the moment! But I'm collecting parts here and there! Keep up the great work and congrats on the family addition!
