I won't bore y'all with the whole spiel but I have a bank of fixed resistors that give me a 1 ohm load so that will be the "resistive" result part.

I believe the 7k is the "BA2". I think. I just call it "the 7k". Lol.

Andrew... the bank of fixed resistance is a dummy load for the amp. I'm able to wire them to a 1 ohm load and they absorb the power and dissipate it as heat. It's the same principle as the AD-1 amp dyno. Since it's a purely resistive load, there is no "rise" and the voltage and amperage are in phase. You also don't have to beat the snot out of subs or wake the dead to test amps. But that's just a bonus.

Yeah I get that, was wanting to know what you used, so I can build one too, I have an idea what to use, but since you got something that works no point in re inventing the wheel. lol

Oh. Lol. I thought you needed fixed resistance 101.

These are similar to the ones I have except mine are 1kW each.
