Skar Audio VVXv2 Series Box Designs & Cut Sheets

Recommended Posts

Today I put together box designs along with cut sheets for the VVXv2 Series Subwoofers, in both Single and Dual Woofer Designs...

If you are looking for a strong and great sounding enclosure for your VVXv2 woofers, these will be perfect depending on how many and which size woofer you are running as they were designed specifically for these drivers =). Simply browse the designs below and click the associated link for the PDF File which will give you the cut sheets as well as other specifications. These boxes are relatively simple to put together if you have the basic tools required and are clear cut so as not to be confusing how to assemble.

All designs can be found at Skar Audio - Where Audiophiles Meet Excellence > Knowledge Base (Footer Link) as well as in this thread..

We will be coming out with designs like this for all of our different woofer lines specifically for each series, so stay tuned if you have other Skar Audio speakers.

The v2 Designs should work just fine with the v1 VVX Woofers!

Thanks so much, can't wait to get my subs playing it's been a 2 years without music.

using torres and inputting the specs on the skar website there is something wrong:

Skar website: Outside Dimensions : 19” Wide x 20” Deep x 14.5” High says gross volume is 2.0 Ft ^3

Torres Calculator: Outside dimensions : 19” Wide x 20” Deep x 14.5” High says gross volume is 2.44 Ft^3

That difference is kind of a big deal especially since the skar site says its tuned at 32hz where as torres says its tuned at 39hz?

I am basically trying to figure out why there is such a big difference as I am trying to design a box for a honda accord, but the information isn't adding up.
