Setting a line driver and amp gain without the dd1 or oscope is a recipe for quick and sure speaker death..spending that money will keep you from spending more money on replacing drivers or amps. You can set gains with a dmm because Ive seen ppl do it before but without an oscope or dd1 you have no idea if its distorting or not I would remove the line driver and set the amp by ear until you get a dd1 man..cuz an oscope is more than 200 bucks and still cnt see 1% distortion. Deadly hertzz Posted November 28, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2013 I usually just use the preset eq powerful then vocal when I don't want so much bass and the loud setting had low medium and high I usually use medium it makes it crisper and a littler louder on the tweets but say I have the loud off eq on flat and I set the gain but then most people say adjust all your other stuff after which of course will raise the voltage to the amp my saz 3000 max inputs 6v and my line drivers at like 5.7 on a 40hz -10db test tone but If I set my eq or loud it'll be higher than 6v and I don't want to mess the amp up 8 sundown sa 12s walledSaz3000 at .5HO altAll ofc Sky high wireAlpine componentsRockford power mids Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
