will77530 Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 ok so what was happening is whenever my windshield wipers would turn on like go up the sub would hit once so everytime the wipers went up i would get a random boom it still played the way it is suppose to besides that. i had to hard wire it in because the previous owner cut the factory harness out. i had the yellow 12v going to an orange wire the red acc going to a yellow and the ground to a black wire. what i ended up finding out is when the acc was disconected it wouldnt do it so after some direction from 98hoe i tapped into the brown acc underneath the steering column but it still did it then i ran a new ground and had the brown acc tapped into and the problem is gone
Ray Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 Sounds like ground to me. 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz

Robert8252 Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 Let's say you were a cheap fugger and are holding out on buying a processor. Would something like the new pioneer 80prs benefit a 3way set up even though it only does 2way. The mid and tweet on one output with the same TA and the mids on their own TA? Mid and tweet are right next to each other in pillars. Just curious. Thinking about getting rid of the double din and like the looks of the pioneer. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
Ray Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 As long as the mid and tweet were right by each other. Yes 2008 California state record holder 157.2 Bassrace2009 California state record holder 157.0 BassraceRollin 50's 158.7db2009 King of Cali Bassrace2009 USACi score 160.5 @ 42hz
