fatmat1987 Posted November 28, 2013 Author Report Posted November 28, 2013 Ok its been driving me crazy all week trying to figure out where I went wrong.
fatmat1987 Posted November 28, 2013 Author Report Posted November 28, 2013 my voltage is only dropping to 13.3 at Full Tilt.
TeamHT Posted November 28, 2013 Report Posted November 28, 2013 A lot of reasons. Amperage, maybe it's too much power, could also be rise. If at a given frequency you jumped 4x, you go from .4 to 1.6ohms at the amp. But at 1 ohm you jump to 4 ohms. Could just be a lot of loss, I woikdnt have done 3 amps anyways. I had three RF T4000s but was louder with just one single amp. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
tacomaguy1 Posted November 28, 2013 Report Posted November 28, 2013 1 ohm that's why Probably rising high, drop em down and it'll probably gain Team Flex Issues
TaylorFade Posted November 28, 2013 Report Posted November 28, 2013 Strapped at .4? So... .2ohm each? Say conservatively that you're seeing 4x rise. That's an easy 4k per amp for 8k total from (2) amps. Assuming rise is similar at 1 ohm each... that's 1 ohm rising to 4 ohms per amp. Maybe 2k each. So... 6k total from (3) amps. No big mystery here.
