That Loud Focus...USAlternators Hairpin, 4 DD 9515i's in a B pillar on 2 Soundstream XXX-15K's. Caps and Lithium Power. New vids

Recommended Posts

not to burst your bubble but you wont fit 2 dd 18s behind your c pillar. i would be surprised if you can fit 2 15s in optimal space. b pillar wall or bust.

the js are insane though. good choice :) i suggest yuou spend cash on electrical before new subs! and also i still dont understand how you went fron an xs d3100 to a juicebox battery.

either way. im tuned in for results as ususal

Cause a juicebox is better than no battery lol

Bottom depth 30"

Top depth roughly 17"

Width 41"

Height 20-21" to top of back seat.

Taking from my 03 zx5 focus.

The roof I'd roughly another 20" at most but slants back and is shorter near the sides.

Sorry but I don't see 2 18s fitting a no that is 41" wide x 40" tall x 30"depth 1 x 17" depth 2. Even with using the spare tire well.

2 15's can be done for sure in a no wall style enclosure. I did a 154.3 sealed on the dash in my ZX3 with 2 Nightshade 15's and a pair of Sundown 3500's. I would suggest going that route because the car doesn't need to be built the way you are doing it to get loud. Do what you want but there are better options. My loudest setup in the car was 4 Sundown sa12's and 4 12's is about the most coins area that will actually fit in the hatch.

Nit saying it can't be done but not with keeping the back seat

It may be able to be done but there is no way it is optimum. Why waste your time when you can be louder with a well thought optimum enclosure for the correct sub setup? Like I said he can do what he wants but it won't be as loud as a no wall setup in that car. I may have a bit of an idea about the vehicle since I have the loudest recorded no wall score ever in a Focus ZX3.

For the record I have a zx5 so idk if and how it differs. idk what I am exactly going to do yet. I am doing a c pillar though. I have wanted one forever. but I really don't want 2 15's. I'm going to measure out everything and see exactly how much area I have to work with and go from there. like I said if I cant do it I cant. I would do like 4 10's or something but those J's are expensive lol. only can afford 2. maybe I could do a 4th....idk. not set on anything yet. I gotta think about it a bit.

Everything looks pretty good here. Nice job on the doors for your first go round. Learn lots doing it yourself.

Ok so now I feel obligated to ask the question, cause this makes no sense.

As far as my friends car I will not be posting any more pics of his in this log. his current setup will probably be it for now. shortly after slam his engine seized. long story short whoever did his oil change put the oil filter on wrong so the story tells its self. he will be getting a new engine put in and once he does he will more than likely be walling shortly after. if and when he does I will create a separate log.

HOW THE HELL DOES ONE PUT AN OIL FILTER ON WRONG?! This is basic mechanics 101. It has one hole, that screws on one threaded tube in the engine. It's not like it can be put on backwards. I know it's not part of the thread, but really, I'm extremely intrigued to know how this happened. That story doesn't tell itself, that story begs to be told because it just simply isn't easy at all to eff up putting on an oil filter! An effing monkey can do it!

It was put on using a wrench and over tightened. it cracked and slowly leaked out.
