That Loud Focus...USAlternators Hairpin, 4 DD 9515i's in a B pillar on 2 Soundstream XXX-15K's. Caps and Lithium Power. New vids

Recommended Posts

So ya, I cant fit 18's. I think I am still going to do a c pillar though. probably 2 15's. I have the space for that. I was also thinkin maybe 4 12's but that's a lot of space as well. 2 15's though should be louder than my current setup. plus my hatch is getting destroyed. it rattles and flexes so much. a c pillar would eliminate that. anyways that's probably what is going to happen......until I change my mind again lol.

why do you want a c pillar? do you still cart people around? if not there is nothing a c pillar does that a b pillar doesnt do better. plus you can still dispkay your amps and all that behind the wall and make it pretty. with a c pillar youre left cramming it in. 4 15s in a b pillar can be done too

ya I need my back seats....for now at least. what I really want to do is 4 9515J's in a clamshell at the b pillar. that would be perfect. but need back seats for now. that's why I was thinking 2 15's to start. that way when I do my b pillar I already have 2 .

C pillar is rather pointless in the focus. You wouldn't have to go slanted all the way up on the wall. The sides and back can be fairly straight. The bottom half of the baffle would be slanted. From the top of the back seat up can be flat but the top would slant doe towards the back.

You ca manage a box that's 6-7cuft net behind the back seat. Amp placement gets tricky though.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

I CANT GO B PILLAR lol. at least for my first year in college. I will be doing one though........just not now. I wanna do a c pillar just for the hell of it. if its not loud and sounds bad then screw it. but it will be loud. ya I wanna have the front of the box flat (maybe small slant where the seats fold up) and have be back slanted at the top and then flat the rest of the way. batts/caps in the tire well or make a ledge for them like I have on my current box. then amps on the back of the box. but ya I am not doing a b pillar and I am not doing another hatch setup. so this is the next best thing lol. but I am still not 100% sure. by the time I rebuild I may say fuck it and do a b pillar. its not "my" car until spring anyways. for now I am just saving for whatever I end up doing. either way, it will be loud.
