Getting big boxes in and out these cars are a pain. Like always you had to remove the trim to get it out. I'll take a guess you folded the seats down put the box on top of the seats and turned it. Then pulled it out the hatch door?

Actually i happened to have the trim out at the time so i was able to get it trough the back. but it wasn't easy lol.

Any input on if i should do 12's or 15's would be great. i am goanna be running a ton of power so some have said do 15's. but some have also said 12's. idk. but my last box was about 4.8 cubes net so idk. we will see

I WAS in a similar boat.. 15s or 18s.. But then I found that Zv3s like small boxes and surprisingly little port. That, and they perform well.

Then again.. Not many other 18s would like my box at ALL.. Like.. SMDv1s maybe, but thats it. Smoove put SP4 15s in basically the same box as mine.. Like, no joke.

Its a struggle lol.. If you want more sub options, you should do 12s imo

we discussed this lol. 2 15's with a top external port. That should be good.

edit: plus since I eventually plan on running a ton of power it should be fine. Port will be huge though.

Do the 9512's in 3 cube each with 18"-20"^2 port per cube and they should really go. You could probably make a pair of 15's work in that space if you wanted to do 15's for the sake of doing 15's, but I'd do just a pair of 12's. If you think you can get 8 cubes net, try 3 12's which would give you a bit of an edge on power handling over 2 coils. OR if you can get your hands on a single 9918 and get that in 7 cubes that would be super sweet.

If I were to go back in time, I'd have made the front wall of mine removeable so I could change subs/port if I wanted. Using some weather stripping and a shitload of screws will keep it tight and allow you flexibility to change the plan if you ever want to audition something different by just building another baffle.

I can get about 8 cubes net (give or take) if I do external port. I have had 12's for a while and I really wanna try something else. I really want to do 15's which is what I will probably end up doing. I would do 3 12's but I don't have the money to recone my current subs and buy a third. But I mean if the 15's fall on their face I can always swap back to 12's. I will probably end up with 15's though. Its what I really want to do so mind as well do it lol. If I doesn't work out well then I will have a lot of people saying I told you so lol. But I don't care. I am aware that this may not work out very well. But why not try. If I can get a big enough port, and at least 7 cubes net I should be fine especially considering the amount of power I plan on running.

cant do 3 12's. I'm not doing 2 12's, so 2 15's lol. I'm goanna run 2 subs. And ya the 15's aren't goanna be at their

full potential but they will probably be just as loud if not louder than the 12's
