Soooo i forgot to post pics last weekend lol. so here they are.

Got the car all nice and cleaned up.

started on the cap bank "false floor." only have 2 banks in at the moment. i have another that needs to go in.

looking pretty good. its not too uncomfortable sitting back there. just gotta do a plexi shield to cover them so nothing falls down there and shorts them out.

Started mounting 2 channels

cleaned up the doors a bit

then got the xxx in there. not sure why but its working fine now. we will see though. it wasn't working after the accident.

then trying to wire the xxx while brandon vaped the whole car out lol

So anyways, that it for now. its sooo much louder with that second bank of caps. its currently blowing those 12's

away. and they are only on 1/3 power. the xxx is just a temp amp until i get my first 6k which will be soon. so stay tuned

for that.

edit: also gotta clean up wiring a bit more and do my small array behind the wall. all that will be done soon.

I want to make a cap bank one day. I find them very interesting and pricey , but there like everything else in caraudio world MONEY. I have 3 3100 battery and 3 yellow tops. Still have voltage drop. And that Sucks, because these batterys way down my ranger big time. Tuned end for a video ha ha. Good stuff dude. I don't care about comps. just a old basshead for life.

Was your rattle in e back quarter area? An old manager of mine had one and his back quarters rattled to hell and back. Turns out the clips snap off so you had to replace them a lot. They may have replaced yours. With all the shit they screwed up I'd be angry and not sccepting it. There would be hell to pay

Cool man. yeah caps are awesome. see, with batts they rest around 13 volts. because of that unless you have the alt power to keep it above 13 your batts dont

do anything until you drop down to 13 volts since that's what they rest at. caps rest at whatever you charge at. i plan on charging at 15.5 eventually that way

i will have way better voltage. but yeah i don't really compete. i did 2 seasons ago but last season i just demo'd. this year im thinking of competing just for fun.

the rattling was in the rear, but not sure what it was exactly. i could never find it. it could very well be what your talking about. with the hatch setups that rear

area took a ton of abuse so i wouldn't be surprised. but its way better now. as far as everything they messed up, i already talked to them about it and they

don't seem like they are goanna do much about it. i do plan on taking it in though. i fixed a lot of the small things but the things like the bumper and fog light i cant fix.

i found small traces of red paint where the bumper is cracked so something hit it, or it hit something. and as far as the back door locks not wired in i gotta take a look

at that. Now that all the equipment is back in i don't really wanna take it back but we will see if they offer to fix it.
