Hifonics Zues Line

I don't have any experience with Hifonics at all. Is the Zues line of any worth?

Edit: I'm going to stop posting on this thread. Getting tired of people just putting "I disagree" about something then not saying why. Just because you say you disagree doesn't mean shit unless you explain why. Another reason is of these damn hifonics threads turning into a mutt hugging thread of people trying to say there are a amassing brand for the price then never showing any real evadance in why and what makes them better. I am happy with my BRZ-2100. Is it as good as an AQ2200 or SAZ2500 (or insert other amp here).. nope. However, mine (not your, but mine) is .5 ohm stable even with subpar electrical (80a alternator, Optima blue top, small xs power battery in the back)

I don't pretend that it is making rated power but it is within a couple hundred watts at 1ohm. If you want an amp that you KNOW is making 2k.. buy DC, AQ, Sundown, DD, Crescendo etc... but be prepared to spend between $400 and $600 for 2kw. If you want an amp that makes "around 2kw" then my Hifonics was $250 and has just about all the same features as it's more expensive counterparts.

I have not done any testing concerning efficiency. It is highly possible that the more expensive amps make their power with less current draw. Hifonics is not... I repeat IS NOT better than any other company. However, my amp was literally less than 1/2 the price of the DC 2k, and I guarantee it puts out more than 1/2 the power @ 1/2 the efficiency lol.

If budget is not an issue, I would definitely buy a higher quality amp. But for my use, I have no real complaints about my Hifonics amp. It has been running strong for almost a year, and 6 months of that has been at .5 ohm. There are a lot of people around here who hate Hifonics, and generally dislike anyone that doesn't hate Hifonics lol. Buy what makes YOU happy and F everyone else.

BTW Sundown, DC, DD, and pretty much every other amp manufacturer rates their amps <.1% THD @ 4 Ohms just like Hifonics lol. The below chart is copied off Sundown's website. Notice how the lil < points teh same way as the Hifonics? That means that THD is < (Less than) .1% not greater than .1% rofl.... not to mention that .1% of 700 is .7 not 70.... I am not going to bash you because we all make mistakes.. but damn... looks some shit up and do a comparison before you get excited like that. Sundown no doubt makes a better amp. But the THD is rated the same. ROFL Just noticed you run a SK-2500... Skaraudio quoted me $799.99 for that and it shares the same THD rating as my amp.
